Technique Tuesday July release!

Hope everyone is enjoying hopping along with all the designers for this months new releases at Technique Tuesday

You will be coming to me from Technique Tuesday and after me your next stop on the hop is going to be Amy Kolling  This month brings us the super cute Sloan and Slater stamp set with matching Sloan and Slater dies as well as the gorgeous Hollyhocks stamp set and Hollyhock dies

For this card I decided to use both stamp sets together. I used one of the sentiments from the “Sloan and Slater” set.

I wanted some dimension for this card so I used the Essential labels crafting dies as well as the Oval and rectangle stitched crafting dies for the sentiment.

I coloured the sloth in with Copic markers using the colours E35,33,31 and 51. The Hollyhock was coloured with copics as well using the colours YR14,Y23, and YR30, the leaves were done in YG17,23 and 31.

I used foam tape on the back of all the die cuts to give lots of dimension to the finished card.

Thanks for stopping by and I’m sure you will enjoy seeing all the other wonderful projects that the design team has created for this months release.

  1. Enjoying how every person in the blog hop is coloring the hollyhocks a different color – so versatile! The sloths are so cute and the sentiments in that set are awesome!

  2. This sloth stamp set is so cute & the sentiments make me giggle. I can relate to the sloth in that some days my energy is so low I feel like I move like one. lol Your colouring is wonderful & you’ve brought in so much interest with the flowers & the dimension. Thanks.
