Sharing a shaker card I made today using this adorable snowman from Rubbernecker stamps new release.
I started by stamping the Snowman with plaid jacket image with momento black ink on Neenah card stock and colouring the snowman in with Copic markers. After he was coloured I fussy cut him out. I attached foam tape to the back of him for added dimension. On a separate piece of card stock I die cut the Window with double stitching and kept aside two of the window panes to fit back in the openings of the window behind where the snowman would be placed. I then glued a acetate sheet to the back of the die cut window.
On a separate piece of white card stock I used the Nested pierced rectangle dies to cut a sheet to place behind the window. On that sheet I colour blended distress oxide ink and used the circle stencil with glitter paste to create a snowfall background. The window was filled with glitter and small sequin mixtures to create the shaker. I framed the entire window with foam tape to keep each mixture in every pane so it wouldn’t end up all at the bottom of the card.
The sentiment Believe in the magic of the season was stamped in Versamark black ink and heat embossed in clear and attached with foam tape as well.
The panels were then adhered to Neenah 110lb card base.
I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I did.
Hugs
Allie
