Window Scene mini card

I had so much fun playing with the new window scene Die from Technique Tuesday’s June release. Instead of traditional sized cards I decided to make some mini rectangle cards with positive affirmation sentiments.

I had a stash of bright patterned paper that I used for the curtains and did some very simple Copic colouring.

Making these cards

I die cut the curtains twice, once with the patterned paper and then from white cardstock.

On the white curtains I coloured them with copics and layered underneath the patterned paper to create more dimension and a double set of curtains. Foam tape was added to the back and attached to the window frame cut out.

I added a embossed panel inside my window and added some colour to the tiny flowers on it.

The sentiments were stamped in black and heat embossed with clear powder and attached with foam tape to the cards.

I finished the cards with twine tied in a small bow toward the bottom.
