Technique Tuesday Winter Pines

Thanks for stopping by!, Today I’m playing with the new winter pines stamp and die from Technique Tuesday

With Christmas right around the corner I created some cute Christmas cards that were so quick and easy to make. You could also skip the card step and add some extra string to create some pretty tags.

I was so happy with how these turned out and how easy they were to make.

I put the stamp aside and used just the Winter Pines Crafting Die to create these happy cards.

I first made the card bases by hanging a circle die cut slightly over a scored and folded card base and ran through the die cutting machine.

I inked up white card stock with oxide inks in rainbow colours. I used the winter pine die to cut from the inked up sheet.

I added white flicks of oxide ink and finished with shimmer spray. I used my heat total to set it faster because I am impatient.

I die cut 2 circles from white card stock. 2 per card. For each card I used the winter pine die to die cut a tree out of the center and stamped around the tree with the pretty snowflakes included in the stamp set.

I then added foam tape to the back of the stamped circle die cut and attached to a solid white die cut circle. I glued the tree die cut into the opening.

I finished the card with some peppermint embellishments and a string bow at the top with a mini pom pom center.

Crafty hugs,

Allie
