Hummingbirds

I’m so excited about this months anima house release from Technique Tuesday. There is 2 gorgeous hummingbirds and a beautiful flower along with some lovely sentiments in this set! I was so excited to get the chance to play with them.

I have two cards I’m sharing today.

The hummingbirds were coloured in copics and die cut using the matching die.

I did some simple layering using some background die cuts keeping both cards with subtle backgrounds to focus on the pretty hummingbirds! (My favourite is the one with the pretty tail)

The green card was blended in oxide inks in the colours mowed lawn and twisted Citron and once dry I stamped the pretty flower around the panel and heat embossed in white. A small scalloped Rectangle was added to the center with a stencil pattern in clear glitter on it (hard to see in photos)

I finished the card with a heart die cut with the sentiment stamped in the center and attached it with foam tape as well as the hummingbirds.

The other card I did some stamping on a stitched rectangle panel with the flower stamp in the set and used pencil crayons to colour the flowers in. I die cut a heart from the centre and backed it with a lattice type panel. A sentiment was stamped on top and everything was attached to a white card base and pink panel.
