I’m a proud mom and grandma. Hairstylist by day, crazy craft girl at night! Have been making cards for a couple years now after dabbling in essentially every other craft out there. I also enjoy making dollhouses and jewellery when I’m not working on cards.
~ now for the tutorial you have been waiting for ~
Start by cutting a 12″ x 12″ sheet of card stock to 8 1/4″ x 11 1/2″. Score along the 11 1/2″ side at 2 3/4″, 5 1/2″, 8 1/4″, 11″ Score on the 8 1/4″ side at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″
Cut both ends off along the score lines on the 1/2″ side leaving the center section.
Cut along both sides the score lines to the inside score line. Each side will have 4 flaps once cut.
With the 1/2″ section facing left along the top cut triangles from the second and fourth panel.
Start to fold the panels in on the opposite side of the triangles. Starting with the first panel beside the 1/2″ section fold in, add glue to the next panel and fold in to the inside of the first panel, continue till all the panels along the side are glued and folded in, always gluing to the inside of the panel before not the outside.
Once the panels are glued you will need to angle the corners on the 1/2″ piece on both sides, add glue and tuck inside.
I reshaped my triangles to skinnier triangles. It’s up to you the shape you would like them finished at. Once your shape is finished use a hole punch for a place to tie your ribbon. You can leave the side square panels to close the box, you can also cut them off or glue and fold inside. I left mine attached but glued in and used tissue paper so it was more of basket when finished.
Colour and die cut leaves, vines and glue all around the box.
Colour and die cut flowers and other elements and attach to box. Finish with a ribbon.
We hope that you are inspired to try out your own creation with the amazing stamps and dies from La-La Land Crafts!
Thanks for stopping by today! I made this sweet little tag using the adorable peas in a pod digital image from Streamside Studios using my Spectrum Noir Classique Markers.
For the tag I started with a white tag base. I layered a printed card stock panel then a ink blended tag on top. For the final layer I added the sentiment on a white stitched panel, a fence and some green vines tucked behind. I attached the peas in a pod with foam tape to give some added dimension.
Happy Monday and Happy Spring! This weeks theme is all about the easter release at La-La Land Crafts. I used the adorable bunny from the Oh, Crop stamp set from the release for my spring inspired card.

Die cut the wreath twice and colour in copics.
Add die cut flowers to the wreath as well as the die cut bow.

It’s the first of the month and I was so excited for this months release at Streamside Studios
There is so much to love in this release. Today I’m using this gorgeous fairy coloured in shades of orange and purple.
To make this card
I started by die cutting two stitched rectangles, one in orange and one in white.
The orange one I attached to my card front. On top of the orange panel I added the white one with stamped out hearts coloured in orange and the sentiment heat embossed in clear over black ink.
I coloured the flowers and fairy in Copics in the colours YR09,Y38,Y32 and for the purple in BV01,000,0000.
I fussy cut all the images and glued to the top of the white panel. I trimmed off the excess stems hanging off the bottom. The front one flower was attached with foam tape so I could tuck the fairy in behind as well as the butterfly, fairy and fairy wand. I also tucked some leaves behind and adhered with liquid glue.
I hope you love this Set as much as I do. You can find these adorable images at Streamside Studios
