Springtime Hello

Foxes just melt my heart and this sweet image from Rubbernecker Stamps definitely captures the cuteness factor.

If you would like to recreate this card or for some inspiration you can follow the steps below!

Step 1 – I started by die cutting the Tree panel die from a sheet of white card stock. I used my Copic markers to colour in the leaves and trunk. I wanted something more whimsical so I decided to do pink leaves using Copic colours RV10, 23 and the trunk in the colours E43 and 41.

Step 2 – I used the Deckle hills die to cut from another sheet of white card stock strips that I blended distress oxide ink along the edges in the colour spun sugar.

Step 3 – On a sheet of white card stock I blended spun sugar distress oxide ink towards the bottom to create a soft pink glow behind where the hills would be placed.

Step 4 – The tree and hills were glued in place with the foremost hill attached with foam tape for some added dimension with the sentiment stamped in Versamark Ink and heat embossed in clear.

Step 5 – The Fox was stamped in memento black ink and coloured with copics in the colours E55,53,51,50 and R11 and attached to the front of the panel with foam tape as well.

Step 6 – I finished the card by stamping some small birds on some of the branches and adding a glitter pen to add shimmer to the tops of the leaves.

I hope you enjoyed my card share today and it inspires you to create one of your own.

Crafty hugs,

Allie 💕
