This month Rubbernecker Stamps has there design team focusing on all the awesome background stamps they carry.
This is definitely my favourite company for background stamp choices. From florals to stripes and everything in between there is so many to choose from. And with so many uses for background stamps It’s one of those craft room items that I always invest in.
Heres the steps to create these rainbow inspired tags. I even pulled out my long and forgotten flocking powder for these pretties.

Die cut tags from patterned card stock, if thin paper die cut a tag from white card stock and glue the patterned tag to the front.

Emboss background stamps on white card stock with white embossing powder, Die cut tags from the embossed background. You will get 2 tags out of each back ground stamp using the second largest tag.

Ink blend a rainbow on the tags and wipe excess ink off.
Hole punch or use the die for the hole.
Die cut 2 part butterfly.

Cover bottom part of butterfly with glue and cover with flocking powder, leave the center part of the butterfly plain.

Cover top part of butterfly with shimmer pen, attach rhinestones to antenna and glue to the flocked butterfly.
Stamp and cut sentiments
Add gold thread to tag and attach butterfly on top, add sentiment, add rhinestones and sequins, finish with ribbons.

They are so beautiful and playful! And flocking powder! I think I only have white and I don’t even know where that is anymore. Very clever idea!
