Thankful

Hope everyone is having a fabulous day! Thanks for stopping by.

You can never have enough Thankful or grateful cards in your stash. So many times in our life there is so many people to be thankful for.

I decided to colour the base of the card with oxide inks then emboss the leaf images over it and copic colour them for a soft look.

The adorable girl and chipmunks were coloured with copic markers. I used foam tape to prop them up off the page.

Finished it up with a simple embossed sentiment on a strip of paper also propped up with foam tape.

This completes my card!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Little Monster

Hello everyone! I’m sharing with you today this super scary monster! He’s terrifying! Well…maybe that’s not the right word to describe him. Let’s go with hilarious! Look at the expression! His face says it all!

To make the card I first coloured him with copic markers on Neenah solar white 80lb card stock, then I masked him off so I could do a bricklay stencil for the background. I wanted to keep this card fairly close to one dimensional. I used distress oxide ink in the colour tea dye for the bricks. I taped off at the bottom of the bricks so I could colour the bottom portion of the card with oxide inks in the colour mowed lawn (to give the look of grass)

I finished the card with some diecut flowers in little wooden crates and a sentiment that suited his expression so well. Both were popped up with dimensional tape and I adhered everything to Neenah classic crest solar white 110lb card base.
