With love

I have to admit I may have developed a slight addiction to tiny flower die cuts! I used the mini leaves though this time to create a rainbow trail following this 3 dimensional butterfly coloured with the new Color Fuse Inks.

This card was so easy to make, here are the steps if you would like to create one of your own.

I started by using the new Color Fuse Inks and blended the shades I chose for my rainbow on white card stock using a blending brush.

These mini dies are fabulous as they cut multiples at the same time. I used the Tiny Leaves die cut to cut my leaves out of the colour fuse Ink sheets I blended.

I glued my leaves down to a panel cut from the largest die in the Nested Deckle Rectangles Die Set. I stamped the sentiment “with love” from the Kitty Says Phrases #1 Clear Stamp Set in black Versamark ink and heat embossed in clear.

For the Two Part Butterfly #3 Die I blended the Color Fuse Ink Pads for the underneath die cut. The top was cut from white card stock and glued on top. Foam tape was added under the leaves for dimension.

Creating this card

I die cut from white card stock the flowers, vines and bicycle. I cut an additional bicycle out of gold card stock.

The bicycle and florals were coloured in Copic markers and glued to a die cut panel.

I used the second bicycle that was cut from gold card stock to piece over the first one where I wanted gold accents.

I used glossy accents to add shine and dimension to the bicycle.

I finished the card by gluing my panel to my card base that was stamped with the poppy background stamp and heat embossed with yellow embossing powder.

Color Fuse Inks and layered Stamping

Sharing a tutorial today on making beautiful and quick colourful cards using the new color fuse inks and some new layering flower clear stamps.

These cards were so simple to make with very little time needed. Whenever I use layering stamps I always stamp off extras in all sorts of colours so I have them for future projects.

I used my misti to stamp off all the layers of flowers using the new color fuse inks stamping lightest to darkest for all the layers in pinks and yellows and fussy cut out each one. I stamped the leaves using the color fern and fussy cut as well.

The base of my card was stencilled in distress oxide ink in the colour mowed lawn.

My flowers were arranged on white card stock that was cut using the scalloped Rectangles Die. I used the center of the flower to stamp a pattern for the background.

I glued and foam taped the flowers to the base and added a sentiment to complete the card.

Hugs!,

Allie
