Technique Tuesday Love-ly Promo

Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping by! Technique Tuesday has a “love-ly Promo” going on right now (January 19th – 23rd) on many of their loved theme stamps and dies. Today I’m showcasing two different stamps and matching dies that are part of the promo.

I have such a love for this strawberry stamp set. I decided to create round cards for my project by doing some simple round die cuts and layering them. I added the strawberry stamp image that I coloured in copics with lots of glossy accents on the strawberries for dimension and shine.

I couldn’t decide on if I liked the white background better then the Craft paper so I did one of each.

For the sending roses stamp I decided to keep the card simple with a single panel that was stamped around the edges with the rose stamp and heat embossed in white. I blended distress oxide ink in the colour worn lipstick over the embossing and wiped away the excess. I cut a simple heart In the center of the card base and embossed panel. The Sending die cut was glued to the inside of my card base and the sentiment lots of love was stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed in clear.

Before gluing the panel to the card base I added some thin gold thread behind the heart for some added interest.
