You toadally blow me away

Thanks for stopping by! Sharing this little sweetie from Streamside Studios that I coloured with spectrum noir illustrator markers.

This card was super easy and quick to make and will be a great card to swap out different characters and sentiments to add to your stash when you need a card in a hurry.

To make this card I stamped in various ink colours a floral panel.

I trimmed a little of the edges and glued to my card base.

I coloured and fussy cut the frog and bubbles and attached with foam tape.

I added a sentiment and attached with foam tape as well.

Marigold stamps set

Marigold Crafting Dies

Technique Tuesday

I just love these gorgeous marigolds from this months release at Technique Tuesday.

I created two cards with this set. One as a mini slimline and another as an A2 card.

Both I used brick stencils for the backgrounds with oxide inks. Mowed lawn for one, scattered straw for the other.

I used both Copic and spectrum noir to colour the flowers and used the coordinating Die to cut them out. Two flowers were added to cover the slimline.

I used Gina K obsidian black ink to stamp two of the sentiments from the set on the cards.

Otter-ly wonderful

How cute are these otters from the May release at Technique Tuesday? There is two different otters and some sea elements in this set.

I was excited to finally get the chance to colour up these cuties and give them a home to hang out on.

I created two cards using this fun set using one of the otters for both cards. I have the other one coloured up and ready for future cards in my stash.

Opal and Otter Crafting Dies

Technique Tuesday

I stayed with the same colour theme for both cards using mermaid lagoon for one and the other mermaid lagoon, tumbled glass and patina oxide inks.

I die cut a polka dot panel from a sheet I Ink blended using the 3 oxide inks on. I added foam tape to the back of the popped out Circles and placed them on my white card front.

I added a wave die cut tucked behind a white circle die cut and positioned and glued the otter in front.

My sentiment was stamped in black ink in the center of the circle.

The other card I layered some white circle die cuts to the center in front of a bubble stencilled background blended in mermaid lagoon oxide ink. My sentiment was stamped in black ink to the center.

Technique Tuesday

I’m so in love with this months releases from Technique Tuesday. These jelly fish from the animal house release are so cute and the sentiments in this set are so much fun.

I created two cards with this set!

I used Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers for colouring of the jelly fish and added stencilled backgrounds to both cards using distress oxide in the colour patina for one and the other tumbled glass, lavender, wilted violet.

I used the coordinating stamps in the set to fill the white space on my cards.

Circle die cuts were added to created dimension.

Sending bear hugs

This weeks theme is “Thinking of you” over at La-La Land Crafts. I used my favourite bear from the honey bear Stamp Set that was part of the April release.

This was a super simple card to make.

I filled a window box die cut with lots of die cut flowers. I attached it to a die cut fence and added some grass patches around the bottom.

The bear was coloured in Copics and attached with double stacked foam tape.

A sentiment was cantered and added to the top.

I attached my panel to yellow card stock and added to my card base.
