Hooray! It’s Day 2 of Technique Tuesday and WOW! Embossing Powder blog hop and I’m your next stop. You will be coming to me from Yasmin Diaz and your next stop will be Lisa Spangler  (Towards the bottom of this post I’ve listed the full list of designers) There was so much incredible inspiration and talent yesterday with all the designers creations on day 1 and I’m sure for day 2 you will be inspired by the rest of the line up. No hop is complete though without prizes, so let’s get to that part!

I’m sharing a few cards I made for this hop using the adorable Simon and Sandy seahorse stamps and matching  Simon and Sandy crafting dies  A Seahorse isn’t complete without embossing powder and LOTS OF IT! glittery, shiny and sparkling! What started as one card quickly became 4 because I was having to much fun playing with sparkles.  Days later and I’m sure there is still flecks in my hair (which I must say is quite pretty in the sun!)

I was all over the map with these embossing powders.   One of the cards I wanted to use one colour and by time I finished I realized I had lost control and used 5.  That shininess is certainly addicting! Some of the colours I played around with for these sweet seahorses were WOW! Spring Breeze, Mint Mojito, Unicorn magic, Under the sea, Golden Flame, Singing in the rain.

  25. I love the colour(s) you used on the embossed background on your last card with the turquoise seahorse. I would live to know how you created that effect.

    1. Oh thank you! 😊 I used a Versamark pen to draw splatters then heat embossed. Then I would draw more and heat emboss again with the next colour. I hope that makes sense! 😊💕💕
